Hi all....hope everyone had a great 4th. I was thinking it was about time to bring back the SNK knives I had been making a while back. I had a few blade blanks left over, so I ground up 5 to do a little different this time.
As always, these are D2 tool steel, but I have done the kydex a little differently. In addition to the kydex, the knives are coated with Gun Kote. This keeps them from scratching when they go in and out of the sheaths. Also, I am drilling all my kydex sheaths to be able to accept a Tek Lok.(not included) This will give the user the oportunity to use what ever carry mode they wish. ex. pocket, neck, belt, inside the pants, right, or left, inverted, horrizontal, ect, ect.
Take a look, and as always, the more comments the better.

Specs:

OAL: 5 7/8"
blade: 2 1/4" of cutting edge
Hollow ground with a nice taper to the point (very sharp)
ground from 1/8" D2 tool steel
Flat Black Gun Kote finish all over
OD Green Kydex sheath with ball chain lanyard included
Note..(the sheath is drilled for placement of your Tek Lok if you wish to use one)

If I didn't already own one of these from one of your earlier runs I'd jump. These are great little blades.
 
I've never even considered owning a neck knife untill i saw your design. Nice work. :thumbup:
 
Patrick, I have one that I have been using for a while now, and it seems like the coating keeps it from scratching. I did an M-16 upper reciever with this stuff, and even the brass banging off the deflector behind the ejection port wouldn't chip it. It's pretty amazing stuff.

This knife is light........entire package is only 2.5 oz. Knife, sheath and ball chain lanyard. Plus, we all know how great D-2 is in cutting tools.
 
I own one from an earlier run and can say it's a fantastic knife. I've worn it under the lightest shirts and no one has ever noticed it. A perfect necker...
