A few XM-18's from the collection, the slicer and skinner came in yesterday.

Rob, it's photos like that that remind me how much I wished I knew of Rick prior to 2010. That's right, I'm relatively new to it all. I lurked on Internet forums for a couple months, traveled to Blade 2011, and that's when I decided to join the forums. Not just because the knives are so great.

Because this is a photo thread and words fall short...

Got new standoffs arriving today so I figured it would be a good time to do a complete cleaning and lube. While I had it apart, I figured this would be a cool picture.

That combination looks very cool...have not seen the bronze with blue.

QUOTE=Capbyrd;11789843]Got the new standoffs in. Love the look of the bronze on blue. Wish all the hardware was bronzed now.

Worked a trade with a fellow forum member for my first Hinderer...a blue/black XM-18 3". I've been hoping to get my hands on one and really do love the look and feel and function. I'm hoping to either sell or exchange for a flipper but am enjoying this one in the mean time. I am understanding why these are held in such high regard!

I recently bought my first Hinderer XM-18 3" non-flipper. I am really loving this knife and it has a very special feel to it...
