Rick Hinderer Knives Picture Thread

J81 very cool, gives it sort of a mysterious look to it with your subdued lighting and red and green background, nice!

Finally scored a ZT0566 for my dad's Christmas present, and this is a nice knife! Thinner blade and frame than the XM, but feels solid and great in the hand. I'll wait for a ZT0566BLK to get one for myself.
(BTW, Mom is getting knives for Christmas too, a Victorinox kitchen set ;) )

I have to confess, every time I look at pictures here I'm always sort of embarrassed. I'm in my mid twenties, college and grad school educated, raised around technology, and I do not own a real camera and I have zero clue how to edit pictures. There really is absolutely no excuse. It's pretty much still all Greek to me, and all of yall have such fantastic photos. My pictures are of poor quality and unedited, but I thought I'd share these two.

This is the state of my EDC. I, unlike most folks, don't really rotate what I carry much. I may modify it specific days for specific tasks, but in general these are the things always with/around me. I'm actually really quite satisfied with the state of my gear since I really got into it more seriously about a year ago. I received the final piece of this gear, my investigator today, and I think I'm actually good for awhile. Maybe I'll start saving for a custom or a new watch or wait to be really blown away by something.

And this is a friendly public service announcement that unused scales can still be useful! Never underestimate a classy bookmark.

^Looks like a solid edc to me! What more could you possibly need? Very nice gear. I love the bookmark also. Great idea! How are you liking your new investigator? I love mine

NjH very nice set up, dwarfs 99 per cent of population! For being younger sounds like you are very focused and grounded. You my friend will be very successful in all your endeavors, best of luck and great to have you among the regulars.

NjH, lighting is key!

Took these with my cellphone indoors to demonstrate...

Then waited for the Sun to rise a bit and took this photo with the same phone in nature's light...

Everybody has been posting up some great pics!! Looking great my friends :)

And always keep on sharing

Hope you all have enjoyed your holiday weekend as I have

Great looking wharnie Jensen!! That is a great combo of SW Ti & brass, good work!

Thanks guys! I really do like my investigator a lot. It is really small. Small enough in fact that I probably would have been hesitant to buy it if I'd realized exactly how small, but it is actually quite comfortable to write with. I'm sort of on the fence about whether or not to add O-rings, but it'll likely see some pretty heavy use this week that will help me decide. I'm especially glad that I opted for copper over aluminum. The added weight helps the writing experience for me (I know I'm weird, blame writing quirks on being left handed in the western hemisphere).

Also, thanks for the picture tips N2K! I need to practice finding better light, staying out of the shadows, and likely trying to stabilize my phone a little better and maybe I can produce a few better quality pictures from time to time.

Just got a new battleship gray frag scale for the 3 inch . I really prefer the feel over the regular G10.
