Rick Hinderer Knives Picture Thread

^^ Concur! I was just thinking I might have to pick up a red scale - the red & blue would make for a nice setup for certain holidays; July 4th, Veteran' day, etc..

Thanks AZ...might be puttin a new outfit on her tomorrow when I get my bright blue scale. :D ...but the current configuration iv coined the "super hero" wharnie lol...captain america, superman, spiderman...take your pick! :) thanks man.

Ultimately I want a tex. 3.5 cf scale, or even better a 3.5 smooth ti scale for that wharnie. My hand ground satin wharnie is dressed to kill with chocolate bronze ano, smooth cf, and brass stand offs, also bronze pivot screw, all I need now is the bronze scale screws and its a wrap. That satin wharnie is my current show stopper.

Thanks for the kind words. Red scale is much cooler in person and ON a knife, highly reccommend it :)...if you can find one that is. Seems to be rare no? When I got my satin spearpoint, the seller threw in the red scale as a bonus, sure glad he did. ;)

More pics of my Hinderer TDI Fixed. This thing is wicked :D

I really like the angles on that TDI. It really looks like it very useful for a whole range of EDC tasks.

It is an awesome size and conceals so easily. Super easy to draw in an emergency too.

Yeppers...had I scored one at either BladeShow it would be on my person. If I ever score one of these or a Flashpoint it will be my EDC fixed blade.

Very nice collection Jon. That battle ship gray scale is killer.
Thanks... just need to find some blue standoffs to go with it (3" standoffs are tough to find these days!) :)

Jon1all very nice stable you are running. I was thinking about de-assisting my 0566, might give it a go.
I highly recommend doing so. I have de-assited two of them (one for a friend) and on both after doing so I needed to do the "Hinderer blade centering" technique on them--not because they were uncentered, but because doing so really helped smooth them out and give them much better flipping action. If yours doesn't flip well after de-assisting it, try that. :)
