crashlander said:I received my XM-18 two weeks ago and carry it since then. I choose orange G-10, tumbled handle and satin finish blade. No flipper, not my thing. I think the tumbled finish ti is a very good user choice, You won´t see scratches and wear. Reminds me of the stonewash blade finish on Microtech knives The satin finish is well made, does not cost extra and is my favourite - easier to clean, better against corrosion and looks good. I can really recommend this knife.

Does anybody know phone number I might try to reach Rick about placing an order, I'd rather talk to someone in person and I couldnt find a phone number on the website.
Thanks

jryan76 said:To all of you who have posted here that have or have on order a Hinderer XM-18, tkc, tknife, oldrifleman, runger, barker anyone else here I missed. What blade steel is your XM-18? I was just wondering as I didnt see it anywhere on the website, but I might have overlooked it.
jryan76 said:how do you just quote a section of what someone said without doing the above?..........anyhow,
He said it would probably be 3 weeks, maybe 4 after the Blade show.
gbaker said:Wow! That is fast. How does Rick want payment i.e. all up front, an upfront deposit with rest on completion, something else?
Death's Head said:Man, I haven't spent that much on a knife yet, but I am really tempted on raising the bar with this one. You get so much for the price.
You know I think those Sebenza vs. whatever thread could be annoying, but I would like to know the fit and finish of the XM-18 compared to the Sebbie. Everyone compares top knives the the Sebbie for a reason I guess.:thumbup:jryan76 said:I have, a couple of times, on Sebenzas. Dont get me wrong, I love my Sebenzas and will probably always have the three I have now, you just cant go wrong with a Sebenza IMO, and my reg. Seb will probably always be my edc knife(well, we'll see when the XM-18 arrives). However, I honestly think for the same price of a large Sebbie, you might be getting a little more of a knife with one of the Hinderer models. As said previously in this thread, blade choices, flipper choice, color choice, thats a lot to choose from, and its all quality stuff any way you look at it. Thats just my opinion though. Some would probably disagree.
