Rick Menefee Knives...

Nice curves on that! Congrats on a fine knife.

Both are beautiful Rick. I don't think I've ever seen the combination of ivory and Bakelite. Are the liners also Bakelite?

Bumping a great thread with some great knives.

Has anybody got anything from Rick lately?

I've sent out some knives by Rick lately. He's been working on doing some forged steel knives. I think he posted one,in the custom knife sub forum, here on Bladeforum's. Just another craft ,for Rick to add to his talents. Amazing.

Ok ...Rick...Sir...Please.... We need more info about this molecular metal stuff. Just beautiful knives:thumbup::thumbup:

John Lloyd gave it to me to try. Dont know much about it. It's tough and 100% stable. Works like micarta.
I'm going to order some this week in other patterns.

Rick, your knives are very distinctive and unique. Your blade shape and grinds say "Menefee" as do your choice in handle materials.

Honestly, these "Molecular" handles don't do your skills justice. Your Stag and bone handles are cream of the crop and I'm sure more costly on your end.
With that said, you are the best at making Micarta handles look like jewelry.

My two cents from a guy who admires your skills.

10/4 I like stag, ivory, bone. That being said natural material is a time bomb. Not a matter if it's when. I'll always use natural's as hafting material. Cost of material makes know difference to me. I want the best. My knives are no more than tools. The best for me isn't natural.
Best

P.s.
Mark I due understand and respect you view. Thank you for that.
