What a beauty. You don't see Rick building many slipjoint folders hafted in stag, but when he does, rest assured it'll be a "drooler"
Very,Very nice
-Vince :)

I wonder whose name is on for the Stag Swayback ? Too bad it's not me. It is a nice knife.

Gotta Love a Zulu.

These two paring knives finish off my Menefee Made kitchen knife set. It's been in the works for a while. The bottom knife,I plan on trying out as a gutting blade, too

How about a picture of the full set when you get a chance Vince?

I will Rob.
One problem I have is the picture will not be in detail, though,as the set is large so the knives will be farther away when shot.

Nice ones Vince! They make a nice pair of paring knives! ;)
I'd like to see the whole kitchen knife family too!

Congrats on the Zulus, and congrats on finishing out your kitchen set Vince. A plan that definitely came together. I'm sure you will get a lot of good years of service out of them.

Through the kindness of 2 gentlemen i have never met, i have a set of Menefee Paring knives coming my way.

The 2 with lighter handles.
There is no pattern that gets more use than a Parer. Unless you rely on pre-cooked, pre-digested food, a Parer gets picked up and then cuts something 10-20 times a day.
A Parer needs to be thin to slice well, but thick enough near the spine to not flex when cutting something like carrots.
I haven't seen these yet but i bet Rick has this dialed in to within 1 micron, because everyone of the Menefee knives i have can out-slice every other knife i own or did own.
Even better than a Bony Toes.
Thank you M & R.
