Rick Menefee Knives...

Those are paring knifes. The pattern was a clam knife a guy sent from New York i reground and reshaped the blade. It sit around for a year or two and i made it into a shop knife.

There are 1/8 pin holes where they need to be. All the other holes are just random. It makes the handle lighter in the hand and its less material to remove when tapering tangs. I like the knife to be blade heavy when i am useing a big knife! It helps the knife work 4 you while skinning.

Thank you for the explanation. Been a long time since I skinned anything, but I agree about the blade being heavy for skinning.

Without further adieu, I present to you a Menefee premium bone stockman! The fit and finish is flawless IMHO. None of the blades rub, and there is no blade play in any position. The backspring is perfectly flush in all positions to my eye/touch, and I can't fault this knife for anything. Awesome work Rick! (Sorry for the amateur pics, I am still learning my camera).

That knife has the whole package. Very nice, stout blades. I'd feel proud to slip that in my pocket. Congratulations.

Give is some specs on it.

Wow, that one is incredible. The bone looks fantastic and, as you noted, no flaws can be seen from here. Great swedge work to boot. Needless to say, it looks sharp, literally and figuratively.

Wow! That may be the best looking Menefee yet. Congrats on that one.

That bone looks great. Is it some really good Case antique bone, or did Rick do it?

I got to handle that thing and it's an amazing
knife... He really did an OUTSTANDING job on it!
Congrats to you both! Enjoy.
