Vince, I can't blame you a bit for making that one a safe queen. The awesome stag, the perfectly rounded pinched bolsters, and that great looking hand rubbed blade makes for a a perfect example of just how fine a hand made knife can be made.

It looks like maybe a drop point. I think maybe it is one of Bret's knifes he made for his boy! Only a guess. I had a hard time makeing a drop i liked. Bret made the pattern i use.

Rick says with the heat down there ,its so hot some of his machines are like ovens,they absorb the heat

I made it for a former menefee made fan! Its wasnt sharp enough for him so he turned it down! I think it is a great knife. A little heavy but thats they way they were made. For big boys!
