Those sets are amazing. The way the plunge flows into the grind on that hunter is beautiful

What this thread is missing is more fillet knives. I want to see Rick put out a few more of those granddaddy fillets.

I was there when he picked up the sheaths at Parsons and I will tell you those are "Menefee" sharp. I got to feel the edges. Just be careful.

I really like that Hunter from Rick Menefee. What are the specs on that knife ? I like the rounded back on that one too.

Rick just never stops amazing us whether it be fixed blader or folder and now add hatchet to that ! Everyone is so elegant and perfect. We knife lovers are so fortunate to have such a talented dedicated Master knifemaker as a forumite and friend.
That Cocobolo Hunter is what i'd like to get next. Perect field dressing profile, the very pointy tip is crucial for being slick & quick. Think it would look just as fine in Stag ? I do.

I am working somebody northfolk. Also a dandy two blade dogleg. I am thinking about cutting out a auto mazzie doesnt think i can do it and make it look like a trad knife.

I like makeing fixed blades i just havent had time for quite a while. I get on these kicks and it throws orders farether behind. I told Vinnie today i was thinking about making some morris taper handled fixed blades. I use to make a lot of them 8 or 10 years ago. Light in the hand. Vince gives me these ideas and i go nuts so if anyone has complaintes take it up with vince.

He might be a tad slow since it is only 112 degrees in the shop this week and no hope for the weekend. He went nocturnal for a while but I don't know about this time.
