Rick Menefee Knives...

great knife Jason. I have been paying attention and you have great taste in knives. I really like that micarta.

I just picked up this knife which i purchased from a most helpful online dealer.
4", a perfectly scaled down Yukon pattern, marked "0" as it's the first Rick has made in this pattern, Ebony scales.
I am thrilled with this knife. I really like the 4" size. It fits my hand perfectly. The knife is Perfect. I think it is the best folder Rick has ever made.

Here it is with my 4 1/8" Menefee "Western Trapper", also marked "0" and with African Blackwood.
What a pair of fine folders !

Every fine folder deserves a Fixed Blade buddy. I picked up this FB today too. It's a pretty good knife too, eh.

Thank you Rick. This Yukon is The Best !

Roland

The Yukon and the Trapper side by side, what a great picture of two great knives.

Congratulations

Roland i always liked that knife. Just wondering who might be going to blade this year anybody know?

Rick, this will be the first one I've missed in about 10 years. My back only made it a few hours on Friday last year, and it isn't going to make it at all this year.
I'll miss seeing ya buddy, and hope you have a great show.

BTW, That is one sweet Yukon!

I only have one Menefee and it gets used multiple times a week. It is a great little paring knife.

Here's a new one off Rick's bench... 4-1/2 Backpocket with a spear blade
and really nice African Blackwood. Also has an Elephant Ivory shield. It's a
cutter for sure...

I really like this particular blade and frame combination. I can't say I have seen another back pocket with a traditional spear blade. Overall this knife is incredible.

John, great pictures. Are these yours? If so I would love to see them in person. Charles.

Chief, what are Rick and yourself calling that shadow pattern in green canvas? I really like how Rick is not afraid of new patterns? Is that a second pivot on the bottom end? Congrats on some great knives. Any specs?

Charles,

Thanks for your kind words. Sorry to report that none of these are mine. Rick invited me for a shop visit and while there I snapped a few pics of some knives he is taking to Blade.

Wafarers,

I'll have to defer to Rick to answer your questions, but as I understand it the green shadow was a custom order (well, that was stupid ... all of his knives are custom orders).

Here's one more shot taken today. Sorry to say I can't remember the engraver's name, but Rick will hopefully pop in and refresh my memory.
