By the way Sky, you kicked some ass on the takedown stock. I like that. A LOT.
 
Broke 2 titanium bits trying to drill through a remora and still didn't get through the damn thing. If I ever succeed in drilling a hole in it I might post up a thread on what I'm doing...

Sky - killer job on that. I wondered how much hassle it was going to be for you to inlet the spring lock that holds it together.
Trade -- I like the new blade shape.
Psy - i got off my butt and made a pile of metal shavings this afternoon -- also found out even after wearing it nearly smooth, a Norton Blaze belt will slice you open in a heartbeat of you're careless -- just tapped it on the edgeand sliced through the callus on the tip of my middle finger like it was warm butter. apparently metal shavings are a good anticoagulant though, so I didn't bleed. :D

There was a bit of inletting to do on both sides, The fore required quite a bit of material removed but it came out really nice. Now if I could ever get my trigger housing and parts in for the thing.

Was contacted today by someone with what was said to be a brand new mosin nagant in a synthetic stock for $300. Any thoughts? Was it ever possible to get a new/unused Mosin?

unless it's one of the unissued Sako's or Polish M44's, that sounds high to me.

In november buds had bushels of Mosins for 120 shipped that just need to be cleaned up, I knew I should have grabbed a couple still kicking myself. Was saving for a new Ruger Scout at the time. I hate the gun industry at times.
 
Same here Sky. Should a grabbed one few months ago. Nice job on the 10/22.

I'm going to have to find out more about the mosin I've been offered and research a bit more.
