Ridiculous budget blade-4 dollar Ozark Trails folders, good blade-pic heavy

The stop pin on mine is not aligned square to the liners. It still locks up ok though. Other than that it seems to be ok.

Picked one up for the fun of it today. Decent enough blade for $4. Will keep it in the truck as a back up.

How does this turd of a knife have 21 pages? AUS8 is super steel compared to this rebar pot metal.

It'd be a turd if you paid $400 for it (just as much of a turd as a $400 knife that breaks when you let a friend "play" with it).

For $3.87 before tax however, it is FAR from a turd.

It's definitely a great idea, just poorly executed imo

I would rather see another buck added to the price for a better qc for the lock

What did you contribute to the discussion? AUS8 at 3.87? Do tell where you're finding this?

I bought one other day since just 4 bucks and i always need a cheap knife for work i cannot stop carrying my trusty 5 bucks gordon pocket knife from harbor freight that thing is a tank too. I have more expensive better knives but always carry my gordon or this one. I work as a assembley line reactive maintenace tech and i cut various materials to keep the lines going sometimes they get dropped high off machines and hate to destroy loose a high priced knife. If i loose break a cheap knife i will not beat myself up over it

I received one of the tan ones as a Christmas present. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I put it into my car survival kit. What I really like is those bone handled buck slipjoint s at one of the local Wal-Mart's.

Yes jpm2 it is i have been doing it for like 6 years now and love my job only time i hate it is when we have no spare parts to fix machines proper happens alot in automotive parts factories

Yes it is i work on assembley line machinery for a company that produces car parts done it for a little bit now and love it

Well I had to try one of these after all the post in this thread. Non at my local store so I ordered 1 on line and had it shipped to my local store. I picked it up last week and I totally pleased with it for $ 3.87. I sharpened it with my Arkansas stones and it took and so far has retained a very sharp edge.

I've broken down about thirty boxes and did some extra plumbing work with the tanto one. Just now had to touch it up, easy to do, expected with the steel, and went right back to cutting thirty seconds later.
