It's definitely a good AR and there are some good deals going on right now with them, probably because colt is going bankrupt. Some people praise anything colt puts out though like its the end all be all and eveything they make is the best xxx ever. I can't stand that. But the 6920 is a damn fine AR, that is definitely true. I prefer mid length AR's opposed to carbines though, so I'm going for something like a Spikes mid length or a PSA mid length upper with whatever lower I want. I wouldn't mind at all getting a 6920 though. If I had the money and already had a mid length I would certainly be considering one.
Check around online, I've been seeing the 6920 for around $900-$950, maybe even less..
Soooo, I went to the local 'big box,' but they weren't all that helpful. In fact, nobody said a word to me as walked back and fourth in front of the counter for about 30 minutes. Annoyed, I left.
Went to Bud's and ordered a 6920 Magpul. I'll admit that I'm excited for it to arrive.

Awesome, that's a great rifle. Got it just in time too since colt just declared Bankruptcy.
Ehh, wouldn't be the first time.
The real headline will be when Colt finally closes their doors for good
That's a nice looking upper, I really like that it doesn't have the stupid looking M4 cut in the barrel. Who makes it?

Nice 10/22 takedown, I want one of them as well. Shoot it yet? PSA probably has some CCI .22lr if you need ammo and don't mind ordering
