About 22... my pelican case sits right behind my computer desk and chair, all I have to do is swivel.

I'm embarrassed that its only three. But I have probably 125 more within a few paces. But I know that doesn't count.

That's ok. The Glock makes up for it.

I was looking for a particular knife to open a package that came this morning. as i was looking for it i realised i had loads of other knives within reach.
So i was wondering.....without taking your butt of the chair you are sitting in, how many knives can you pick up.
You can stretch, but not get up. If you are standing, you can reach but not take a step.

I'm shocked and a little embarrassed to say i can reach 49. :)

I have a problem...lol

Yup, you win. I can reach six, sitting in my lazyboy and my legs stretched out. Plus two knife magazines. Do not ask about when I go to the restroom, reading material you know. There must be some funny quote about that somewhere. I just quoted the Kephart quote, "Not all those who wander are lost," in another thread. Maybe then, "Not all those who wander are lost......but are urgently trying to find an open public restroom." :p

How do you like the Frenzy? I have one with black and blue scales and I really dig it. It carries nice in the pocket for such a large knife.

ok. i've moved all the knives except for the ones i have to have near me. Don't feel so crazy now :)

I like that Felco/SAK pruning knife. Do you have any Felco pruning shears? My first pair I got about 44 years ago is still going strong.

I'd never even heard of Felco until i bought this knife a few weeks ago. I had to look them up. I'd be interested to know if the shears are good quality. I looked on the website here in the UK and saw a few things i liked the look of for the garden but of course was unsure of quality.

2 on my desk, normally I would also have a 3rd EDC in my pocket, but haven't changed to those cloths yet. Been outside getting soaked.

If I can roll the chair back 3 feet I can add another 5 in a display
I have knives in every room of the house except the bathrooms(may need to add a couple there)

I keep most of my knives in my desk drawer.
So about 30.
31 if you count the butter knife I used to spread peanut butter on the apple I just ate.

Probably 15 or so knives within arms reach and another 20 or so in the same room on book shelves.

I'm carrying 3, and there are probably two within reach.... but I can't actually touch any of them, and that's okay. My dog is sleeping (on me), and I'm pretty much pinned.
If I needed a knife, I'd tell him to move - or move him - but since I don't... nope
