wow that is a very blatant knockoff.

I think that the people at kershaw, Scott Cook and the other makers should know.

Thanks...but I don't understand why you would post the picture and give no additional information.

I do not know any additional info...I cant read the thing.

This picture can be found on CKG.

if you don't know any info, how do you know it' rip off and not a collab, or something of the sort?

IMHO

Brett

Never head of a colab like that.

All of those knives have the same pivot pin, which means if they do colabs between such famous makers. then we oughta know them.

ill find more info, and send it to the makers to let them know

Let me get this straight Rusty...
so if someone copies your knife exactly but blows it out at 1/2 what you charge (lets say they are at the same show as you ) , then you would be ok with it since it is not marketed to the same group of folks as your original ?

I dont get it .... a copy is a copy.. and this guy clearly says it is a copy in his ebay ad . He claims he saw it in a magazine , couldnt find any more info on it , His google -foo must be on a pre-k level , cause I bet my 5 year old could find info on that knife in about 30 seconds.
he also claims it was for personal use , hmmm personal use but he is now selling it ? nope , he is a knock off artist , and I would be willing to bet his friend is hi
and the U-tai guy even posts on his website a customers statement “As a knife collector, to have the knives that we love and the knives with favorite designs at affordable prices is the dream of every knife collector”" .....
pretty much covertly admits they are knockoffs , no ? and indicates knockoffs are what his customers are looking for , so yes it does cost the original maker in the end , it could also hurt their credentials if it is passed off as an original somewhere down the line.

here's another collector/maker of borrowed designs:

some ripped off mayo designs there
or perhaps the Cooks and Onions...clown even signed his name to them... ? Must be ok , not costing those guys any $$$ ??
