Ripped Off: Lochsa + others

Keith Montgomery: He's talking to the OTHER Keith on this thread. Dumbass.... :p

(Sorry. Easy target--couldn't resist! ;) Back to the regularly scheduled bashing....)

Anyone have a clue who is making/producing these????
I looked at another forum where that photo was posted and followed the trail. It appears the maker(s) is a 'Kevin-John', although the blog and the photo album are Asian.

The blog is the sixth link above the photos. All in Japanese text?

Lot's of F&F talent, but paying too close homage to the original makers. (Said with tongue firmly in cheek.)

Those are strange knock-offs. Usually, knock-offs are low grade, but damascus blade? And a Lochsa...something that is notoriously difficult to machine? And finally, who would be dumb enough to sign a knock-off? Mmmmh, I have the feeling there is more to this than meets the eye.

P.S.: I think the infraction was for misspelling "du....ss".....it is hyphenated and spelled with a "b"......:D.

hahahhaa :D

Just to clarify again, I wasnt talking about you, Keith Montgomery, I was talking about Keith Hilton, for thinking I might have a son when he knows me.

:)

HoB, you are definately right, Coop stated that it even looks like a integralframe

I like the knife exactly in the middle (flipper maybe)? Is it copy of another knife too? If yes, who is the original maker?

Don't know for sure, but it looks very Tim Galyean-ish to me. Why don't you ask him? He works for/with Kershaw and is one of their moderators at their subforum.
