Are they all plain edge? I hope so because I ordered one and I don't remember choosing a blade type.
do you accept paypal?
if not should i send in my m.o. now or when the knives are ready?
As I understand it, you are not charged until the knives ship, but I don't get involved in that aspect of it, that is entirely Aeromedix.com's area of responsibility, so best to contact them directly.

They pre-auth your CC, but that pre-auth will be deleted in a few days and then the card will not be charged until they actually ship in February...I believe that's how it works. This is part of the order confirmation I received a few minutes after placing my order:
Order Billing Summary
Sub-Total: 145.00
Sales Tax: 0.00
Shipping: 34.00 ( USPS Global Express )
Grand Total: 179.00
Payments Received: 179.00
Due Balance: 0.00
At some point during the ordering process it was stated that credit cards won't be charged until the knives actually ship, which they estimate to be around early February. But as you can see from the billing summary section of my order confirmation, my $179.00 has been paid and I have a due balance of zero. I should confirm with my credit card company. I'll do that soon and post the results.
This is very tempting but doug, why the lower hardness?![]()
Mine will need a trip to Phil's house (and furnace) and I bet sodak's will, too.
Phil Willson, http://www.seamountknifeworks.com/. He is a knifemaker who is quite knowledgeable in steels and heat treatments, particularly CPM steels. He does his own heat treatment, and has re-hardened many forumite's blades.I assume the furnace bit is about this M4 batch needing to be re-heat treated harder. But who is this Phil you speak of and what else, other than heat treating, can he do to improve a Ritter Grip in CPM M4?
