Ritter MK1 in CPM M4

i think its early feb, just hoping for an early release. i just got my carbon fiber scales today in the mail so now its really agonizing.

Just curious, what makes you think it will be early February? Is it based on information, or "just hoping"?

From Aeromedix site:

"Benchmade has told us that we can expect deliveries in February 2010, but that is subject to the vagaries of production and out of our control. They will be delivered when they are done."

Interesting, and different. How do they feel? They look blocky and sharp, but looks often don't equate to actual in-hand feeling.

Wow, can't believe I almost missed this one. I've got a Krein and Spyderco fixed blades in CPM M4 and it's got to be my favorite steel going. Now one of my favorite folders in M4. Couldn't decide which size to get, so had to get them both.

240 of each size and I managed to get in on one! This makes me very happy as I've been fantasizing for the longest time about the M2 run I missed.

I took a mini-size and only one, although up to three pieces are allowed per email/mailing address. I very briefly considered grabbing two more and flipping them later for a nice little profit, but then I remembered how much I HATE it when I see people selling multiple M4 AFCK's and M2 Ritter Grips at friggin' ridiculous prices. (And there's also the small detail of me not being able to afford two more:o.) Yeah, it's one's right to buy them if they're available, and it's one's right to earn money and profit... but it kinda stinks and is the type of behaviour I want nothing to do with. Cool if it's a regular production model and you have to the foresight to sense that it'll be in demand at a premium much later when disco'd. But when there's only a limited number available, to just swoop in and gobble them up for no other reason than $$$, especially when others would sell a testicle for just one for honest to goodness use... well, not so cool. If you want to earn some extra money then get another job and work for it. What? Bitter? Me? Nah.;)

Hahaha. You crack me up with your jaded truthful post. Ta hell with limited runs! I rather they discontinue it out of nowhere than to have a numbered limited edition. Jeez! Can't even use the knife with a number on it!

I must've fallen asleep. Spyderco makes a fixed M4 blade knife?

Do the Wilkins scales for the Grip fit the Ritter RSKs?

They should, since the only thing different is the blade steel and shape. The handles are standard BM Griptilian. I recall seeing pics of Wilkins scales on RSK Grips, but can't remember where that was.

From Wilkins web site

"Which WilkinsGRIP fits my Knife?

WilkinsGRIP BMG fits the Large Griptilian models 550, 550HG, 551, 552 & 553*"

BTW: The 552 is the Ritter.

Yes, any scales that fit a regular Grip will fit a Ritter as well. Only difference is the blade.

Edit: Wow like 5 people just said the same thing. I guess that's what I get for walking away from the computer in the middle of typing a reply.
