Ritter Wilkins Griptilians

Thanks for the pic rexromic, I actually have a couple of those clips just didn't realize it. I had to cut them down a little bit, little long for my tastes. Jazub I use the factory screws.

No problem atony.Like the clip a lot, they are little rough on the jeans though. But when clipped the knife goes nowhere.:)

Do you know the weight of the large Wilkins grip titanium scales? I can't decide between these or a cf from cuscadi. I can't get over the perfect look of the Wilkins.
I like Ti.:D

I have sold some of them but I did order another set a couple days ago, large Ti set for my Ritter.

I do not have a scale but the weight difference is substantial. There would be a huge weight difference between the two. I had a set of Cuscadi's aero carbon fiber and they are nice but once I had Kevin's Ti scales I was hooked. The fit and finish on Kevin's scales are excellent.

Atony, thanks for your opinion. I was looking at the aero with anzo pattern. I guess I'll have to get a mini ritter and get both scales. Thanks!

That is semi new.
The first WilkinsGrips did not have the lanyard hole.
So, this version (w/lanyard) is relatively speaking, new.
It's been out for roughly a couple years now, give or take.

Thanks

Glad to hear you like them Jzub.
Atony after seeing your, the one with the HG blade, I need to order another set and another mini.

The clip is perfect for your knife Brandon, looks really good

How do you like it retention wise?

Retention is great. My only concern is it scratching or catching on something i brush up against, but overall very pleased with it. Thanks again Paul

Thanks, Brandon, it's a very interesting upgrade to have available. I see an aluminum Wilkins scale in my future as well.

The configuration you have with that clip looks great. Seems like the mini is a sweet spot for a lot of guys here. I'm more than a little afraid to open up that can of worms...

Brandon, I have three of the clips, one on my swimming pool green mini grip, had one my 14205 and one on my
Ram and thankfully never got caught on anything. I see where concern comes from as they look catchable.

I was looking into getting a set of Wilkins scales for my mini-Grip. But the website has them listed at around 150eu? depending on the material. That would be roughly $210 us. Am I missing something? Price seems very high for. Set of scales.

They are pricey but very much worth it too me, as I cant get Ti scales anywhere else. There are alternatives for G10 and Micarta if that is what your after. A few top notch guys here on the forums that work with different materials that could probably help you out.

Woah, what scales are those? I checked on their site but the only blue ones like that were G10. What are those?

Those look like the Blue Aluminum. There are some bright blue G10 on sale that are similar in color but toxic backspacer. Shouldnt there be more of these listed now with all the M390 blades?

Like the overall size & feel as well. Perfect in every way...:)
