On a separate note....

I got a BK4 headed here from Dex (thanks brother!!) And i got my Hex Hawk blanks back from waterjet today :D

18 out of 20 blanks are excellent. The first 2 cut had the wrong sized holes on them so i didnt get charged for them but they still sent them to me which i think is awesome. I can use them to test out doing the bevels, finishing, even throwing!!! since the only difference really is the size of the holes in it i just cant test out the screwdriver or bolt function with them 2.

Ill prolly throw them in the tumbler for a while tonight to polish them up a bit before working them.

Everyone in bed already? We had three groups of 3-4 kids, period.
But, everyone in the neighborhood knows about the four dogs...
I did one last jack-o-lantern just before dark - using my Becker Remora.
Had to laugh when my daughter put my grandson in my arms - a six month old dressed as a pumpkin!
Life is good.
Cheers, Ed

I read today that a scientific study shows that a man looses 50% of his thinking ability when he sees cleavage.....

for each breast. :D

My neighbor shot a little coyote tonight about 50 yards from my house. I'm gonna cape it out tomorrow and attempt to tan the hide myself since he didn't want it.

Considered eating it since I like to try new things but just didn't feel like dealing with it tonight. And she had a lot of fleas and stuff so I put her in a bag and stuck her in the freezer to kill all the little critters. Ugh............ I still feel things crawling on me, even tho there isn't. lol

This is the first one I've ever seen here. We did have something attack one of our dogs we had about a year and a half ago and rip part of his ear off. I thought it may be a coyote that did it. Guess now I know.

up this way, if anyone gets within 300 feet of my house proper, they'd best have written permission to hunt, cuz, "the law"

nearby in VT, apparently, you can shoot off the front steps of someone's door mat, as long as they don't have no trespassing signs :D

that close to a house, the guy was hopefully VERY SURE that he wasn't shooting at a family dog

Yea, it's all cool. We both have a few acres and my house is on the back of my property line and his is on the front of his. So his deer blind, that he lets me use If I want is to the side of my house and he shoots straight back away from me. And my deer feeder is in the front of my house and on the side of his so I shoot straight away from his house.

We usually let each other know when we are out shooting since we both have dogs. Actually, two of his labs were shot by a rancher and killed last year when they got out. The guy said they were attacking his goats. Crazy.

Tonight he was out bowhunting and watching the deer eat at his feeder waiting for a deer that needs to be culled, when this thing came in and chased everything away. He fills his feeder with nuts so we have everything from white tail deer, axis deer, turkeys, squirrels, about 6 beautiful foxes, and lots of different birds all hanging out at the same place.

according to my conservation officer, "when is a good time to shoot coyotes" -- "anytime you can"

I've never seen any around my place either, but I know they are there. I'm the last house on a cul de sac with all the houses on 1 acre lots. On the other side is 80 acres of hay pasture and larger ranches west of that. I have, however, found coyote scat on the front porch several times, and the next door neighbor said he saw one on his porch one night about 0300. There's no doubt that they are around and looking for easily caught food.

Good night all, and remember...3 is the place to be!

Cleavage is good times.

Daizee, you know what I am talking about. That project. Updates...

+2.
Funny you should ask. 2 steps forward... planned another for tomorrow, in which case an actual update will be warrated.

Seen these while out tonight. all at the same house. The guy also put his business card for pumpkin stencils and custom already carved pumpkins with a piece of candy in everyone's treat bags LMAO....

according to my conservation officer, "when is a good time to shoot coyotes" -- "anytime you can"

Coyotes, Feral Hogs, Pit Vipers and Skunks are the varmints on my "Shoot on Sight" list.

Coyotes because rather than sticking to their "natural prey", they also like to pick on calves, goats, dogs and cats.
Feral hogs because they destroy crops (I couldn't care less about their destruction of people's yards.)
Skunks because something like 80% or more of them in central Texas are either carriers of rabies or actively infected with rabies.
Pit Vipers (rattlesnakes and copperheads) because I hate the damn venomous things. I dislike, hate, detest, and abhor ALL snakes, but only rattlers and copperheads are on my kill list. The others eat bugs and rodents, so they earn their parole. Water moccasins are pit vipers as well, but they get a pass because I don't mess with their territory and they don't come into mine.

I guess you could say that Anacondas, Pythons and Boa constrictors are also on the list. Haven't seen any around here, but if I ever do, boot factory, here they come.
