Send me a pm when ur ready to let go 😊Thanks gentlemen: The SAI is a work of art with the topographical titanium handle. Also really like the leather case the SAI comes with. Sad to say, it is a tad to small for my hands so it will be moving on soon I think.
Wow...
But that's zdp Blues?

Another great video from the Edge Observer. I like the Ryo and I understand that ZDP is kind of the flagship steel, but I wish they would start including YXR7 across more of the "premium" models... although I doubt I'll ever have the money for one of them anyway![]()
My guess is that it would ride sort of like the crkt Swindle. I had one for a big and it was less weird than you might think. If you clip it to the back corner of your pocket it rides a little backwards but you get used to it.I love that retracting pocket clip. I wonder how it rides. [emoji41] Beautiful knife.
So I just got my Nehan back and wanted to update the post. I sent it off on 1/26. I got it today 3/4. That is really quick considering it has to go to Japan and back. I sent a Sebenza to CRK and it took 8 weeks. You get much more for your money through the CRK spa though. The knife itself is sharp now. Most of the scratches from use and sharpening are gone and the blade has a nice polish. However, it is not the flawless mirror finish you get from a new Rockstead. It is much, much better than when I sent it and I'm happy I did it.I sent in my Nehan last week because I was curious about this and it really needed to be sharpened. I'll report back here when I get it in hand.
In my email conversation with them I asked about polishing the blade. The response was: "So, I can do resharpening of the blade. However, we can not do repolishing of the blade surface. This is not including our warranty."
I'm expecting to get a sharp knife back, but I also expect to have all the scratches it left with based on the email response. I would think some level of polishing has to be done to restore the edge though.
Higo just arrived. I'll open it when I get home.
Question: has anyone touched up their Rockstead on the wicked edge as opposed to sending it to Japan? What degree are they using and what micro bevel? Once my chosera stones arrive I'm thinking I'll give it a try...after it needs it of course. Probably a year down the road, but just preparing myself.
My apologies if this has already been asked earlier in the thread.
