Congratulations!

That's a beautiful knife!

Congrats Brother! First impressions?

My heart was racing when the mail guy came. I was stunned by the beauty of it as I unpacked it. Its got that dark smoked blade that is just amazing. I was impressed with the Duralumin handle as well. Much more than I read about. Not only does it look good but it's as though the wavy water pattern creates a very secure grip. The jimping works well and in all the right places. Lockup and centering dead on. It's also slim and light enough that I feel like I can carry it in my business slacks. It actually fits quite nicely in the coin pocket of my jeans clipped and my Leatherman Charge TTI in the regular pocket on the inside same side. Dual carry. Not uncomfortable at all. I've covered all my bases and am prepared for anything. I'm blown away right now with joy.

Beautiful knive everyone. Rockstead blades are so nice they look like they poured the blade out like mercury and it solidified

That's a great looking knife bladeninja. Congrats man. I hope to join the club one day.

Hey guys

Ive been thinking of getting myself a rockstead again but not sure which one. I have already own the kou and higo. The higo felt just a little to big in the hands and the kou a lil bit to small. Ive been looking into the Chi. What do you guys think?

You can't go wrong with the Chi, it's an amazing knife!

I think you will find it to be the perfect size between the Kou and Higo. Also, the tanto blade is second to none; it's the most beautiful grind I've ever seen.

If you get one, be sure to post up some pics in this thread:thumbup:

Thx for the info and The comparison shot, just what i needed. Could any1 post a picture of the kou and Chi together for comparison?

Also, how good is the tantig grind for curling? I can imagine the Higo is better since it have a longer belly?

What exactly do you mean by curling? I'm not familiar with that term.

I will say, that the tanto grind has a small amount of belly throughout the entire edge. It's not such a sharp transition between bevels like most tanto grinds and is actually a really good cutter.
