RoseCraft Knives

Has their OEM been disclosed? Rough Ryder most likely?

I do think some of what they are releasing is pretty interesting.

My first rosecraft…well done…

I wish they were slightly less buffed. Any feedback on their D2?
Weird, I wish I was more buff. I agree, they are shiny, though.

Every one I have received has been sharpened very well, shaving sharp in fact, but I can’t really comment on edge holding or perceived hardness, as I haven’t done much difficult cutting with any of them or had to put any on the stones just yet.

As Centermass Centermass says, they all come with really good sharpening jobs on em. I cut a few boxes up with one my Nolicky Jack, and it put a few scratches on the blade, but the edge laughed it all off and was as sharp as it came. I'd say it's good to go with my limited testing, so to speak. In any case, D2 is such a known quantity at this point, I would be more surprised to hear of any of these having issues that D2 shouldn't have. It's pretty tough stuff. Hell, I'm old enough, I remember when Benchmade put it in some of their knives and it was sought after. "This is TOOL STEEL". That was a huge selling point at one time. Those were the days!
