Thank you Bob! I actually had one I had to send back recently, a wood covered senator lamb. The scale fitment was terrible on it. The scales had gaps at the bolsters and the liners were proud on the spine and blade well. Basically the scales were too small or shrank, I don't know. The vendor took care of me, and I used store credit to buy the Barren Fork Jack and it is perfect in every way.

I like the Lanny's Clip pattern. I'm OK with brown or green micarta on this one. Will be the same size as my collab Lanny's, and just a little larger than the Buffalo River Jack. I'll be in on these. :)

I love that Bose, I'd love to find one at some point.

And like you, I'll be in on the RC Lanny's. I liken them to the Kizer Trestle, those are extremely well made also, though admittedly at a higher price point and some of the models definitely wouldn't be considered strictly Traditional!! 🤣

The collab is nice - pricey but not full custom pricey. I really like the collab Eureka Jack.

I haven't tried a Trestle yet. Thinking about maybe trying one of the newer spear points. 🤔 Maybe.

One neat feature is that it has a back "bar" that covers the actual backspring, so it essentially ensures that look where the backspring is flush in every position. A tiiiiiny bit of trickery, but nothing egregious.
 
I may not like the color choices but if my finances allow I think the green will be the one
