Skipped the last few but the diamond shield and red jigged bone, oh my. Got sniped on a remington mini trapper so I had to do something with the knife budget this month.

Well hopefully you get one if your popsicle already melted lol.

The action on mine is strong, but manageable. The original one I got was past a nail breaker, I had to basically use a tool to open it, but after contacting Andy Armstrong at RoseCraft, they made it right. I can’t say enough about their customer service.

How do you like it? I've spotted a denim model and am trying to talk myself out of it since the red one is still days away from getting here. You have both. How do they compare?

The red is a little wider and the denim I have is a little snappier.
Both are spot on in F&F as usual!!
I would not hesitate on either one!!

Thanks for the reply! I just ordered the denim, so I now have both versions on the way. This place is a bad influence.

Well…my Barren Fork Jack came today and to surprise there was a small blemish on the blade near the sharpening choil. Sent a picture to customer service and they apologized profusely and said to keep it as a user and they’ll send me a new one tomorrow. Needless to say Rose Craft customer support is beyond reproach and then some! Now if there’s a Porch regular looking for a Red Bone Barren Fork Jack user shoot me a PM. Blem is gone.

Excellent. I am still waiting for mine to show up because TPK always elects to send knives to me by courier mule or something. Two states away, but knives always take a week to get here.
