Small knives can be nice, lol!
Looks like it might have been made in the same factory as a Rough Rider.I'm not sure if this is a RR. It has a China stamp on it.

I wish Rough Rider would stop stamping the horse shoe logo on BOTH the bolster and tang stamp. Tang only please. End of rant.
I don't have a pic, but I layed my large sodbuster on the belt sander with 220 grit and like the looks much better now. Looks more utilitarian and doesn't scratch as easily. I also like the Case as-ground finish, so I'd say go for it!Thought about putting a satin finish on one of my RRs. anybody every try this and if so what did you think of the results?
I always have preferred the Barlow pattern as plain as possible, although I will make allowances for a bolster stamp. The rounded bolster and handle of the RR Barlow are very reminiscent of the ones Utica/Kutmaster made back in the day. Very comfortable in the hand and easy on pocket.Wish they'd bring the horse shoe back as the shield on the scales. Haven't got any like that and I think it's better than the others they use. I don't like the ones with R stamped on the bolster but like the horseshoe on the Barlow.
