Round Three Guyon!

Keep messin' with the Biscuit, and you're gonna get the butter.

Just sayin'. You keep at it, and he's gonna whoop your ass so bad, you won't go into the kitchen for a month.

See that Biscuit avatar? NASA examined it, and so did the Smithsonian. It was classified as "The Greatest Biscuit Ever", and will be shot into space, then put on display.

And that, was just one of a couple dozen he made.

Uh oh, here comes the flaky thunder, I can hear it rollin' in.

I tried a martini once, inspired by M*A*S*H, dumb idea. I'll stick with whiskey and beer.
Those would be gin 'tinis, not vodka. I don't drink, but I have been told that gin martinis are better than Bond Specials (The Vesper, Casino Royale)
Again? I'm running out of food!

Purists say gin only. I'm not a purist. I like vodka martinis better. Always have.
Those on M*A*S*H were hooch-tinis made out of Lord knows what.

Real butter too. Maybe even some sweet jelly.

So, as I sit here eating my carne asada tinga chicken and chorizo fajitas I have 2 questions that arose. 1) Is this challenge ONLY for Gunyon? 2) Does it HAVE to be breakfast foods? Cause I would like to throw my hat into the ring in the next couple days if it is open to anyone.

<My apologies>.

Let's see what you got.

See that there? That, on the ground, at your feet. Its the Gauntlet.

Pick it up and get in the fight, or leave it layin' and go back to breakfast.

:D

If you look at the previous threads you can see that basically whoever feels like tossing up a pic of some food they made is more than welcome to. It is all just for poops and giggles to be honest. Guyon used to post up tons of pics of his breakfast stuff (biscuits no less) and I thought it might be fun to see if we could take things up a notch with a little bit of mild competition and ridiculousness. Does it have to be breakfast? No, but that is where it started, and like myself the Guyon is a fan of it, so it has typically remained there. If you got something to toss up though, by all means, let 'er rip.

Although if we had only one dish to really settle who is master, I would put the breakfast scramble I made at the Gathering on Saturday morning back in October in the ring anytime. That thing was stupid good. Wish my camera wouldn't have been made of suck and I coulda had some shots of it.

Yeah, that was some tasty food. And quite necessary for me, and a few others.

It would seem I was feeling quite good last night. :D

Moosez, no apologies necessary man, it made me laugh last night.

I'm making my stuffed pork chops tonight. Went to the store today to get them, they are currently sitting in a salt brine. It's going to be my pièce de résistance with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans as the accoutrements...

I have been guilty of food pics in the past.

St. Patrick's day here at Casa de Biscuit usually involves green biscuits.

So what you're saying is, if I'm gonna throw my hat in the ring, I need to make sure it's thrown with some weight... Can do!

I don't have any current food pics on my computer to upload. Last cooking "contest" I was in, I made jalepeno poppers wrapped in prosciutto and stuffed with boursin cheese mixed with green onions.

Damn, was that the sound of Derek gettin' his ass whooped?

I think it was.

Taste that Flaky Pimp Hand of Victory, D. :D
