Round up those Cattle Knives!!

The special assembly Cattle knife from 2022 is exceptional, especially because of the nice firm blade pulls!! I love cattle knives and this one is indeed special at 3 3/4"; a very robust knife!!View attachment 2920419View attachment 2920420View attachment 2920421
I haven't seen an ebony 35 cattle before, very nice find,I'm hoping for gec to make another pattern withebony or African blackwood covers sporting a nice big silver shield like on the blackjack, for the most part I don't like over baring shields but something about a well polished silver shield against a glossy blackwood background.

I believe the ebony cattle knives were a rendezvous special. I was quite jealous as my only complaint about the regular 35 cattle knife of mine was the covers. These ebony 35 cattle knives look so nice.

There is something about nice black woods and silver furniture, on a pocketknife!!! 😁 Ebonies 1.jpg

Calf is also stock!!! Ha Ha!!! Serpentine, I call that a stockman!! But call it what you like!!
Just don't call me late for dinner!! 😂
Yup serpentine and I thought I bought stockman and still believe i bought a stockman but the release says I bought the calf roper, there were a few meals when I was young I preferred not to be called to the dinner table let alone late lol.

This one is older, a Schrade CutCo made for the sons of the famous Jack Knife Ben, in their shop.

Cal, this is an outstanding Knife my friend - Wow!

Not a cattle knife, but in answer to your "black woods and silver furniture" line what about the Washington Jack in Gabon ebony, maybe the best looking knife GEC ever did.
