Row Row Row your.... Canoe.

I don't have a canoe but I do like the look of the GEC northfields with the long straight nail pulls and the swedges. I think I want to get one eventually but its still pretty far down on the "to buy" list.

This thread inspired me to get my one Canoe out of the box and take it along today, at least for some photos.

Forgot to include this one in the group shot.

The more I look at canoes the more I think I would like one. I need to pick one up.

I really need a new pic of my canoes, but until then...

Gunboat on the right.

Blue Sky that Gunboat is awesome. That may have to be one of my next purchases. I really like how they are a tad bigger and the fact that they have a blade setup similar to a stockman. Very cool.

A great blade set up, one of my favorite patterns for sure. I wish they were available in CV. There are some older models, ("Classics" maybe?) that were but prices on those are too high for me.

Here's another:

I like the canoe pattern. Both blades are handy and the knife is still thin and pocket friendly. The sunk joints help with that. I have a couple of "oddballs" to show. First is my avatar single blade canoe by Jeff Mutz:

and the second is my Fight'n Rooster 4 blade variant. It is my most used canoe and is getting quite "used looking" now. This is an old picture when it looked "new".

I think you get the award for the most interesting for sure. Awesome knives. That four blade Fight'n Rooster is also something you don't see everyday.

I've got a few and have carried each one at one time or another, even the forum Cannitler. I just ordered a Case canoe last night. Very pocketable pattern.
