RTAK Type knife

big chopper will be great, especially if readily available before the first snows (october up here)
 
I also want (nay, NEED) a RAT Golok, and badly!! Slight cant on the handle (subtle is good) and 3/16" stock, 10-11" in length, no choil and any sheath option that is secure and able to be lashed to the side of a ruck...

I would love a RC Golok also! How sweet would that be. I thought the goloks were a little thicker, closer to 1/4 inch?
 
I would like to see a 1/4" blade. As someone else mentioned, I'm after a good chopper. Something that you can carry when you go hiking, but not as cumbersome as a machete.

It's best to have the extra mass behind the edge, rather than the sides. Having it to the sides means that more energy is lost due to having to displace more material during the cut. When it comes to a chopper, thin is in. It just needs to be decently wide and/or long. ;)
