hay i got a kick out of the other ...
going to do a 112 next to see how that looks and feels
heck i may become a girly knife user! ;) :)

When you get around to doing a 112, I know a feller that can make a sheath for it. We need to see the "Pass Around" properly dressed. Jack

It might look a little like this...300Bucks

I just threw it down and shot the white is some dried mink oil that needs brushed....3B

I got the Rubber Bucky today. I'm very impressed with the mirror finish you did Dave.

I leave tomorrow for a week in North Carolina so the Rubber Bucky will be headed back south. I'll send it on to Razor when I get back.

You know this knife is really solid even after 35+ years. Bucks amaze me!!

interstate 95 ( only one hr and 30 min away ))
or better yet 81 ( 3 min away!!) CALL ME! !!!!
will meet you for break fast, lunch or dinner as case may be!! o
heck if you are on I-81 and got the time

ok i found the other thread started by Trax..
i posted to it so any one that wanted to read it could .. there is a pict of the first rubber bucky that is at buck for testing and possable production..
could some one put a jump link here to the old thread ?

so far as field testers we have :
flat lander
razorblades
rudder jet (Jack)
tin sue,
Messer you in ?
this can go as it did before that when the one tester is done he will post so and the
next field tester in line can be sure to email him their street addy..
so Razorblades you will need to send flatlander your address when he posts that he is done in a week or so..
then when jack will send you his..
then tin sue sends jack his..
and so on..

now if you guys find any features you dont like or things you feel could improve it
say so!!! i need to know what is NOT great on this.. too thin or what ever!
i know it can not be perfict... so what is wrong with it?

Right on Dave,I think i emailed him my addy, but if somehow he never got it,just let me know!can't wait to feild test that bad boy.lol

oh its not bad ... jest looks that way.. ;)
the handle is a tad thin in the belly ..

i am going to do a 112 for bucksway..
dont know if it will make rounds or not..

i checked today if the 450 handles off a broke blade knife could be cut to fit a 112..
they can but it cuts through the buck name or else the rocker hole dont line up.. :(

Dave did a excellent job with the rubber inlay. I am convinced after handling this knife that there will be considerable demand for a 110 with factory rubber inlay if Buck chooses to offer this option.

I'm afraid I can't claim to really working this knife out hard. Two steaks...not much of a test. I couldn't bring myself to mess up Dave's mirror finish on the blade (I have an idea how much time was involved with getting it to shine).

The rubber feels great to the touch.:thumbup::thumbup:

Dave's fingergroove job is very good. I would suggest a newer knife that is wider in the belly for the next FG project.

The reshaped tip is an outstanding job. In fact, at 3.5 inches it seems like the perfect length to me.

The lanyard hole is a nice addition.

So, Dave's knife has left me with a new must have 110:

D2,NS,No Rivets, Rubber inlay

What else can I say but: FANTASTIC JOB DAVE!!!!!!

Razor, I'll get the knife in the mail tomorrow.

On a side note, that's a first class sheath. Extremely nice.

well you can win it maybe..
every year i do dave's annual buck knife slales slogan contest.
this year the knife you hold will be the prize!!
CJ buck or his sales staff picks the winner.. and i do enter also..
i won last year but sent the knife to the next winner
as i wont win my own knife.
i still am thinking i will keep the sheath ... :D i really like it ...
but if there is enught response the sheath could become 2ed place prize..
who knows but as you can see the sheath is supper!!!

the knife was a work knife when i got it and was still a work knife of a long time it is still a good work knife

ok now some one scratch it so it will get the snot used outa it!!

I was positive I read that Dave said put a lanyard on if you know how????

Well this is a Chris Reeves layard (he uses paracord) style thingee I just added to the knife. I'm not so sure about it.

Dave (et all)...does it stay or go?? I'm mailing this afternoon so what's the call on it?

looks good to you then it looks fab to me !!!
hummm .. how come there aren't any scratches on the blade?

'aint that sheath fab! :D ;)

Nice ,I'll be waiting on it for sure, did you find the grip to be a better grip than any other 110 ?I can help with shipping if its $$$$$$just let me know, thanks RB

Went out around lunch with lanyard attached. I'm kind of thinking it should be shorter. Anyway, Canada doesn't do delivery confirmation according my local Post Office. It went priority so it should be there end of next week. I have the customs form # if needed.

The rubber inlay DOES grip better.

I can help with shipping if its $$$$$$just let me know

All set on the shipping Don...thanks for the offer.

OK fellas, lets hear all the reports after your turn with Dave's Rubber Bucky. :D

Good News!!

Jack is going to do a sheath for me. I think my G10 I've been toting about will like it just fine.
