Sorry meako.....Farewell to a regular on BF, we'll miss you Horriss!
Not easy-we have a dialogue. Actually he was a tame pet Bearded dragon. Sadly, yesterday, he left for that big compost heap in the sky. Only about 18months old he just
went floppy and died while at the vets. Its a total mystery. We cremated him and said farewell to our little lizard mate Horriss.

Everything I have on the #77 frame.
So far, it has been my favorite sized jack knife and, as I save my pennies, I'll add more.
Now, if I could just get one with a clip & crown lifter...

Go Mr. Bitters!! Great collection so far! I am particularly digging your blood wood example! That is a looker for sure. I also covet your denim micarta. These 77's in micarta have really turned me on to the material, especially canvas. If I ever get decent light, I will get a 77 family shot up in this thread. UGH, November. . .
Thanks,
Brian

The 5 o'clock Barlow is in 'Pioneer Bone' from Mike's first SFO run of two bladed 'improved' Yankee Barlows.
I'm not sure how GEC differentiates between pioneer and primative bone - they look fairly similar to me.

is that the tidioute from bob bigbiscuit from the for sale?

Nope - I picked mine up new when GEC listed the second run of 77s in their production schedule.

I figured when the next run was announced it would boost interest in the pattern and the first run Sawcut with clip-blade would become difficult to find.
I wasn't wrong; shortly after getting mine it seemed like the remaining new stock vanished after a couple of days.

Al, that is a fine group of 77s!!! Glad you bumped this thread, I had forgotten how enjoyable it is to see all the different 77's together. I have a couple that are new to me, when time and weather permit I'll get some pics (for today it's indoor only). Anyone else have a 77 you'd like to show? Bring 'em out we'd love to see 'em.

That is one nice tower of goodness Harry!!! Can you pick a favorite? Are there any others medium barlows that you're looking for?

Wow, guys! Some very nice collections here. The 77 is one of the patterns I hope GEC runs again soon. Very happy with my 2 examples until then.

Thank you very much James and toppygray82 . Much appreciated my friends . I really do not have a favorite one . I really just have a couple of least favorite ones .
I really like Stag . The Smooth Autumn Gold is a Proto-type . The top Red one is one of my GEC's . The second Red one is my First Ever Sheepsfoot . The third Red one is the First Jigged Bone version . Then I really like most Smooth Bone and Black Wood . The bottom right one is my First Ever Wharncliffe blade . Then the bottom left one is maybe the most least liked one and I am not sure why . The only other 77 Medium Barlows that I am looking for are all in the Next Run . I really do not know what the ones from 2014 were like , so I do not miss them . All runs after that , I got what I wanted . I guess I might someday trade the one on the bottom left for one that I do not have . But I do not even know what that might be at this time .
I do still have a 77 Washington Harness Jack that is a known Second and I can not find the reason for that . I will run down the pictures of it and post it too .
Really like the 77's

Harry
