My wife and I were born here and have made the conscience choice to try and stay. Not easy. There are not too many professional jobs here in the State. Luckily we are low maintenance, so low pay and high taxes gets offset by being able to x-country ski and snow shoe right out off the porch and still be able to hunt without having to buy a lease.

Make the search by Horizontal instead of vertical and on the subcategory level include a sample picture of the knives below the location. You have almost NO images until you are 3-4 layers deep. Most people only get 1-3 pages deep on a website before they begin to lose interest. No pictures = boredom.

I like this idea KD. I would also like to see accurate knife materials listed for new knives. Most of the newer knives show N/A as blade and handle material.

I didn't even know there was a contest! I thought this was the thread for the last Blur giveaway. We should start dating them... Oh well, it's not like I would have won anyway. My luck was terrible last night (poker).

Thanks for being honest...I only see three posts in the Kershaw sub prior to the date and time of Thomas' giveaway post....

It did not say 'prior'.
It said you have to have 10 post to not be disqualified to win.
I did by the time to contest was over.

I could have posted 10 times 'before' and then entered I guess.
But I did not read the instructions that way. And I got caught up in mocking up their page.

And my second statement was about having 12 post as opposed to some folks hundreds.
NOT about it only being X before I started the entry.

Key phrase is "have to have" indicating past tense, or posts made before entry.

Your contest entry made post # 4 for you in the Kershaw sub...that's how I see it...But I've been wrong before, and It's not my call to make!

Forum Lawyers always abound.
Rather than let the contest host do their own work and make their own decision, someone always has to chime in. Amazing that people even take the time to do those sort of look-ups. But regardless....

I had the 10 post in and I went even so far as to provide a visual for my suggestion. It is up to the Host to determine if I was within the spirit and rules of the contest or of there was some other intent in the original post.
 
Eh, just give him the knife. He had a nice guess and made a good mockup, and seems like a good person to have around.
