I've been around. I love looking at the new styles and lurking. Even have Kershaw linked from my website, and passed out Chives as XMas presents and Wedding gifts. Small potatoes, I am sure compared to some.

Chives work awesomely, never had any issues, and slips past the knife policies at work. ;)
But having only a flawlessly working Chive, I guess I did not feel I had much to contribute.

When I saw the Mods asking for feedback in this thread, then I had something I could work on and got caught up in it. I would say they have a few too many embedded tables though... hehe. Took a while to clean up the layers of tables to get it to look right. Irregardless, I hope they like the suggestion.
 
These contests on occasion come with some controversy, but this one in my eyes is the topper.

My interpretation of the rules was that you did have to have your 10 posts in prior to the contest. I'm asking myself if Shaman would have added his "additional" posts to make up his qualifying 10, if rule #1 wasn't in place. I rather doubt it. To do it the way he did it was outside of the rules I had in place, but after looking at it, I wasn't crystal clear with that specific rule (who knew).

IMO, it would be outside the spirit of the contest for someone to make a guess, and then to make a bunch of posts afterwards as a way of becoming eligible.

Now I did look at Shaman's posts, and feel they did have substance to them that added to this sub-forum. I also trust we will also see more of him in the future.

That said, I'm going to congratulate him and send him the knife. Great guess Shaman! Please PM me with a shipping addy.

In addition, I'm going to send another S60V Blur to the next closest guess to the winning time. Someone let me know who that is.

It's all good here folks, let's just keep this forum going at the strong positive pace it has been.

Been around for a while, just a lurker. Sometimes BF is hard on people who are not knife makers or collectors. Like I mentioned... Engraved Chives are one of my favorite wedding/xmas/special occasion knives. Thanks for the encouragement though!

I've been looking at Composite Leeks as well, but they are a little big for my work environment and a little small for my hunting backpack. I'd be using the Blur one for sure, but if there were 14 retail in existance....
I don't know if I can get it dirty and bloody.

I'll be sure to post more now, in case the next contest requires 20 post (or more).... :thumbup:

2:28:xx is actually the fastest time held by a woman in the trials. No one has beat that mark I think.
