Sad day for my Sebenza

Sad and heartfelt story. Thanks for sharing, sorry about your knife. Prayers for your friend and his family.

I feel your pain. Check your car out thouroughly. The clips have a tendency to get caught on seatblets while getting out of the car. I've found my Sebenza sitting on the drivers seat once and have found other knives on the floor, where the seatbelt attaches. Anyhow, don't give up. It may still show up.

I am very sorry to read of your loss, j413760, both of your friend and his gift. :(

May your memory of both, never fade.

Im sorry for your loss. :(
I hope you find the knife, even if it's nearly impossible.

So sorry to hear about your friend, and losing your knife.

It does say allot that your friend went through that much to get you something you really wanted. Not too make you feel worse about losing it, but about your friendship. it speaks volumes. You know few ever have a friend that close.

I will pray for you, and also that your knife turns up.

Sincerely in christ's love,
John

That really sucks, and I am sorry for your loss and the loss of the knife that represented your friend.

While your friend and the knife may be gone, you still have 30 years of memories that can't be taken away. You will always have those. Maybe start some kind of journal and write about the experiences you and your friend had together. That way the memories might be a little easier to come to you. I know if you are anything like me and my best friend the stories could fill multiple books.

I would also suggest looking in your car. I have had things disappear and eventually show up in my truck.

Sorry for your loss bro. Just know that few people ever have a friendship as close as yours. Nothing can take that away.

I hope the knife turns up for you.

My deepest sympathies go out to you brother. Always keep happy memories and he'll never really be gone. The knife will hopefully find it's way back to you some day.

That's one of the worst things I've ever read on this forum, or just about anywhere really.

Prayers sent.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend and your Seb. Have you attempted to post an ad in your local Craigslist for a reward if found and returned. Most likely whoever picked it up won't know what they've got. To them it's just another knife. You may get lucky by offering a reward based on sentimental value (do not disclose it's actual material value). Try posting fliers on telephone poles along the paths or sidewalks in which you may have lost it. Hope you can recover your Seb.
