Sad day for my Sebenza

Heartbreaking loss, first your friend and then your knife. I feel for you man and will be praying for you and that you can heal and that you find your knife in good shape. Take care and know people are lifting you up in prayer.

The saddest thing about these situations is you just don't know if it is lost, cold and hungry, or if someone has given it a good home. It's the not knowing that really hurts the most.

If you want to find it, get emotional and take 5 Franklins down to you knife dealer and buy another one. The first one will show up within hours.

Lol... I'm sure it would with the way my luck has been lately! Trust me, if I had the 4 or 5 bills I'd have one in hand right now!!! Not lucky enough to have local knife dealer...

Did you check the laundry basket and the washing machine? That's where most people find theirs. Also tear apart the couch, they like to eat your favorite knives; I've found mine at least a dozen times there. Make sure you check ridiculous places too, before you write it off. Someone on here found their Vantage Pro in the refrigerator last week, so there's a good posibility that it's still lying around somewhere where you didn't think to check.

this story is very touching--loss of a great friend and the loss of a prized gift--very sad

--offer removed--being to much of a softy i believe--

I'm sorry to hear about both your losses.

Maybe you could eventually replace it and have the scale engraved with your friend's name or something special between both of you so that you'll always have a reminder.

Sorry to hear about your friend. As far as your Sebenza getting lost that surely sucks however getting a new one isn't going to be the same as finding the one you lost. It will never have the same meaning.

It'll take time but if your friend thought enough of you to save from his meager earnings to buy you that knife you'll find a way as well to save the money. Knowing you worked as hard as he must have to afford such a gift will make replacing your lose that much sweeter and pay him that much more tribute for the sacrifice he too must have made.

I don't believe this story. I think you're probably just trying to scam people into donating money to you or selling you a cheap Sebenza.

This isn't the first time I've seen someone do this. Like that one kid that posted on here "I just lost my only Buck knife and I have no money to buy a new one" and people gave him free Buck knives.

For one, you don't have a lot of posts here. Secondly, the Sebenza is supposed to be a very high quality knife, how could it just separate from the clip like that?
Third, you say he died 2 months ago and this happened between now and then, seems a little too coincidental.

On the slight chance it is true I apologize, but this post set my BS detector off.

Quality of life cannot be defined by things and possessions but by measure of ??? anyone??
