Sad news... Walosi has passed on

My prayers and condolences go out to you and your family. :( I hope that you all are able to remember all the joy that you shared with your dad, and that the pain fades away from your hearts soon.

Once again, thanks for all the thoughts, prayers and good wishes.

I made it back to Wyoming safely tonight. I dodged (just barely) the storm that buried Indiana and made really good time.

I'm going to be bringing Wal's ashes up into the Big Horns on Saturday, Xmas morning to let him go back to the wildeness.

Yvsa and Nasty (thanks again guys) are going to be playing their flutes to send him off at the same time. My brother and his family will be saying a prayer around the Xmas tree in NC too. If you happen to think of it, please send out good thoughts, prayers, smoke or whatever that morning to help him on his way.

I keep repeating myself, but thanks again. It has been very touching reading all the posts here and over on the S&W forum. It really has helped my brother and I work through the grief.

I hope all of you and your families have a great holiday season.

Warmest regards,

Alan

Just came across this & thought such (among many other posts)
a good memorium.

"Shaved areas are a completely normal by-product of knife collecting and "edge awareness". ............
Bald spot on thigh?? That one may be an early indication of the dreaded "Bobbitt Syndrome". BRrrrr!!"

Been offline and therefore missed the 25th, but will send smoke today. I used to spend time in the Bighorns and it is a very good place. Also, Walosi will cross my mind every time I open a bottle of Tru Oil.

Alan, Brian, & Carroll family,

I am so very sorry to hear this. I wish I could say something encouraging or helpful, but I just can't. I'm still struggling with my own loss and all I can say is that I'm so sorry and I hope that somehow, at least in the end if not sooner, everything is made right for your family. It's a strange thing: I never met your Dad but I enjoyed his sense of humor.

Chris
