That looks pretty cool! What does it look like when closed? The stock on the awl looks slightly thicker than the nail file. Does it create a bigger gap between the blade and the scales on the backside?
 
You saved me from taking the knife apart. Do the blades pivot on a threaded screw? Thanks!

Yup! Here’s the direct quote from the SAK mod master:

“It was serendipitous when I realized the OD of 0-80 thread was 1/16 inch, the pivot size for 58mm tools. I would not have tools pivot on threaded pivots normally, but on these tiny guys it really isnt an issue. I did tests and they work just perfect.”
 
Having a blade swing on a threaded stainless screw would be at least as good as an unthreaded brass rod.
