Nice!

I did new brass liners and rivets. Initially I was thinking equal end, but I didn’t have enough material at home. Ended up with elk horn as bolster separated with a brass liner against pear wood. I have now bleached the wood and starting to fill the pores (not in pics). Pretty funny project, will try to do another in the near future
*almost forgot, it was a Alox 2 before. And even if it’s not a kitchen knife, it’s entirely made in one 🤪

Beautiful job!! Very cool knife!
Tnx B. Means a lot coming from a pro like U :) I have done a oxalic acid wash on the blades to darken and matte them. And I did try to make them look stone washed, but did not use ceramic shards but regular sand. Did not quite do the job... Better luck next time I guess ;)
Very very cool!!
Thank you so much 🙏 😌 Now that I know some misstakes, the next will go smoother I hope 😅

Number 2 in the making.
This time in Oak wood & Elforyn tusk
starting to look like something...
I´m very happy with the fitting this time. No gaps around the back spring, and no blade play :)
The blades are left shiny on this one. I may give them some extra polish to really bring them to life. Hopefully there will be
a finished pic in a few days :)
The only power tool used is a drill, everything else by hand. And just like the last one, "kitchen made" ;)

Does anyone know a source from where one can buy parts for builds? I am thinking blades and tools along with backsprings and scales. If it’s not allowed to link in the thread PM is ok :)
