ALOX seemed a perfect companion for this small fixed blade today.
Congrats on your new fixed blades, Tom! I saw them in another thread somewhere this evening. I doubt if I'll ever carry a fixed blade, but yours (and many others I've seen here, for that matter) sure are visually appealing!:thumbup:
Saddle Brown Day's Work TC Barlow and Burgundy Farmer:thumbup:
Thanks Paul! Your blue pioneer is STUNNING. Looks great paired with that Freemont too
+ 5K! Paul, your burgundy Farmer and the blue Pioneer are AWESOME colors!

You wrote not long ago (actually, I have no idea how long ago it was; I haven't been hanging out at The Porch as much as I'd like to lately) that you were a "one-trick pony", that you could do EO mods and not much else. But when I have free moments, I think about all the other tricks you have up your sleeve. For example, it seems to me that you've quietly amassed at least one copy of every slip joint known to mankind! Folks are talking about carvers
oh, Paul just happens to have an Oar carver and a few others of various ages that he can show you (you don't happen to have a Rough Rider Whittlin' Buddy, do you?

). Oh, did somebody mention bone stag Marbles? I think Paul has a pair or several of those. You need to see some insanely vibrant Alox? Paul's a guy you can count on for that! But that's just "stuff". Some of your other tricks include being a helpful and generous forum member, a loving husband and father and son-in-law, a gentleman who tries to keep a consistently positive outlook, a gracious host to beat-up old barlows, a first-rate photographer, someone with a great sense of humor who can dish it out as well as take it when it comes to "talking' smack", the list goes on and on. Yes, sir, I think I'd be reluctant to play poker with you 'cause I suspect you are a major league sandbagger!
