SAK that replaced my Tinker....

I've carried the same Huntsman for over 25 years. Never know when you're going to need to open a bottle of wine! :D

I just never found a use for the cork screw to have it on my EDC SAK....I have used it once or twice but only on new years eve.....I sure like everybody else here has more than a few SAK and just alternate between a few....

I happen to like wine as a field beverage. two buck chuck cabernet, no need to ice it, goes a long way. Good water bottle aftewards.

I use the corkscrew probably once a week for wine. several years ago my wife and i had a series of huge garage sales and minimized some stuff (then moved onto a boat, then back to davis, etc) and discovered that the SAK can be your ONLY can opener, bottle opener, and wine key.

The corkscrew also serves an *indespensible* function in holding the straight pin IN and in carrying the jeweler's screwdriver. I use both more than once a week.

And you can work cordage with it, too!

can anybody put up some side by side comparison pics of the blades and saws of a Vic Trekker (OHT or similar sized model,) Hiker, and a Leatherman New Wave?

Many thanks in advance

Anyone have the link to open top leather sheaths made for the SAKs? I can't find it now.

I love my one hander now that I stoned off the serrations. I don't know why Vic ever came up with that.
