Sal: Spydie tie clasps..will they return?

Woops guess I should have read more of those posts first. Put me down for Abalone. Rumor has it that it is getting hard to find Abalone especially in a decent enough size for use in a knife. So I figure I better buy some knive with Abalone.

Sal,

I didn't see:
"Anyone stopping by our booth and mentioning this post will get a free necklace at SHOT."

Did ya forget that? or is it just a rumor I made up?

It doesn't matter that I almost never wear a tie, I'd buy one anyway. My thoughts are either a plain metal(Ti of FeCn) or maybe a mini version of the Viele. I agree with whoever said it, wood is a bad idea that small, it'll crack.
Aaron
ps maybe a damascus handled version

Sounds great, but what would the clip be for, with no tie or hat? How about a no clip version? Don't mean to be a clip in the mud.

Mike / Spark:

We've had a lot of action on this thread. I take it we're waiting until after the 1st of the month to put up a survey to determine just how much demand exists for a Bladeforum.com tie clipit in either stainless or abalone. If the software will support 2 surveys at the same time, I'd recommend going with it now.

Thanks!

Bob, the software does have the capability to run multiple surveys, I just have to code them in. I need to get a link on the front page for them, and it will be up.

Could anyone give me a link where I could find a picutre of a knife with Abalone scales. Because before I read about this I thought Abalone was a kind of fish that comes in a can that we keep downstairs. Thanks

Sincerely,
Adam

I will scan some abalone and send you a pick this evening if you need one Adam.
Let me know.

Oh, thanks for clearing it up Lucky

PS. Gus, the E-mail you sent me didn't have a file with it, only some words that I couldn't read.
