I’m covered but also embarrassed.I didn’t get a reply in time for proxy so I went for it.some peeps will be pissed for the multi attempts.suggestions?
 
I should have notified FatRat1 FatRat1 that I was going to try, but didn't see his request until a few minutes prior to the thread posting...my fault:(

Since it was last minute and uncoordinated you can’t be blamed for double dipping and since you’ve managed to score on your own, your two proxies will have to vacate their spots as the best course of action.

As an added note, I think it’s only fair that if anyone who is soliciting a proxy but still wishes to try their own luck, for the reason which you had also mentioned (slow and unreliable Internet access) ought to also mention this fine print.

Not your fault. I've updated the first post with some rules for the thread which I unilaterally made up just now.

Not trying to nitpick, but I see a little problem with the bold part; I think it can be taken advantage of. Today's situation was an accident, but someone can replicate it and make it look like 'an accident' in the future, i.e. someone can just say he/she didn't see the confirmation and try him/herself ;)

Everything that happens will be posted in the thread and preserved from future editing with the replies. This is a voluntary system, people who abuse it will have a hard time finding new volunteers.

In this subform, you are allowed to ask a willing member to enter a bid/claim on your behalf (only if/when you are not able to partake on your own) when Nathan offers his knives for ale in his now famous "Fridays sales threads". The person who accepts to do so on your behalf is your proxy buyer. This is a courtesy service which is absolutely free of any financial benefits to the proxy bidder/buyer. If the proxy is successful, then the essence of the transaction, i.e, the payment, shipping et al will be handled between you and Carothers performance knives.

thanks a lot foneork, I imagine the benefit for the proxy person is that he gets to bring home some additional knives :D even if cant keep them nice feeling! hehe

thanks Casinostocks! so MC is Carothers?... i'm new to carothers.. i've just purchased my first yesterday :D but still will be looking for at least 1-2 more i'm sure
trying to locate the forum of this sale...
