This is probably the 3rd time in similar threads I have stated this.
Clones/Copies/Homages are all creative because words have power despite all of them meaning the same thing. You use these words to justify your own emotional values or morality. It doesn't really change the root meaning.
T H E F T
For the person that wants to compare and reason out why balance isn't used equally and cites being a musician and using guitars as an example- Let's put it this way..You use guitars and I will use your unique song that you created. By your logic, it would be cool for me to copy your song and distribute freely..After all, it's just a Copy!..OR, how about I remix it and sell it and not pay royalties? Cool? It's an Homage! It would be totally cool for some shack to set up and make up some Clones of the CD for sale..Right?
It's all good until the shoe is on the other foot and it's your intellectual property being ripped off.
On the subject of talking about other members and not the topic- Repeated warnings shouldn't be necessary,..Even if just a verbal like I am doing here. Infractions and timeouts are free to me and I can pass them out like candy. I suggest if you have issues with each other, you use the IGNORE function. It works amazingly well.
