Hey guys, just going to do a little post about my Sanrenmu i just got, i got it for 11 dollars form gearbest :D its a slipjoint flipper (i know right :D:D:D:D) so basicaly it has a flipper action but no frame of linerlock, it only has two little balls in the frame that lock the blade when you open it, i really like it, it has a really nice G10 handels that are rounded of at the edges, for 11 dollars, the fit and finish is soooooo nice, i love the feel of it, and it has a four way pocket clip, its 8cr13mov blade steel and its totaly fine, it holds a decent edge when you strap it, it has a nice size for a edc knife, really smooth action, oh and it has a semi polished edge :D:D

Prepare for some negativity heading your way... 😉
Aside from the abuse from certain members you are likely to receive, let me say that it looks like a nice, functional knife. Enjoy it. Btw, I'm not saying I disagree with the negativity, but I am empathetic the lure of a cheap knife that looks like a more expensive one.

Edit: Aaaahhhh, I see now that you start posts like this knowing the general feelings of the forumites here in regards to these knives. You are indeed a troll. Ok then, good to know!

Aside from making the ergonomics uncomfortable and having a detrimental effect, what is the use of this circled spot?

Furthermore, the angle of the clip will put the point on the butt of the handle further out into the pocket and not ride tight against the seam, causing it to ride wider in the pocket than need be. In addition to the added width, it now has a sharp point in the middle of your pocket which can get in the way of movement while also making your pocket a nightmare to reach into.
- This is considering that most would have the pocket clip vertical.

On top of all of this, there is a recurve in the blade which will make many shy away from it due to not wanting to or knowing how to sharpen it correctly, regardless of how "easy" it is to sharpen.
- Evidenced by the fact that even the company couldn't sharpen it correctly. Look how the bevel widens at the rear most point of the heel, but it is shallow throughout the recurve.

Seems like there are some immediate Points that need addressing (see what I did there?).

Even if this knife was made by some respectable company, I wouldn't buy it...

I'm not a huge fan of the design but it is an interesting concept for those in areas that don't allow locking folders.

With the funds wasted on your 2 purchases, you could've gotten a legit knife with a warranty that would be honored.
Silly......JMO

Oh Come on...
11 for this and 25 for the other means he has one quality knife. Think about it, two knives at 1/2 quality means one full knife, right?

Edit to add, I am still waiting for him t address the issues I raised in my initial post.

It's pouring rain on a miserable Monday morning Cray!! That's my excuse anyway brother!!
Brain having trouble engaging today!!

Changing your story, eh?
Now we can't trust you OR the OP? Tsk Tsk Tsk
:D

To the OP, I won't get into the knock off argument, even though I am of that camp as well. You can go to any liquor store and buy a $10 knife. I have one and I use it for weeding in the yard. The fit and finish is great for that. Very functional knife for what I want it do. I don't need a review of it however. If you really dig knives, and I suspect you do like any other male teenager, then take the time to listen to the advice given you. I have 4 boys, I don't buy them high end, nor super cheap crap either, I started them on lower end Kershaw and Spyderco Byrd. They use, lose, abuse them and now they work, and at least one has become a Benchmade nut. So, why not try that venue rather than swimming against the Bladeforum tide? We get it, your income is not high, so you cannnot afford much. Ask a specific model for your birthday or Christmas. My work is done here.

Just applied your theory, bought two Emersons attempting to get one ZT. Turns out I paid double and just have two crappy knives now--am I doing it wrong?

Yes, because ZT has actually licensed the Emerson wave. This only works with rip-off companies and thieves.

2 Lemersons when you could have bought a Zemerson and had money left to buy 20 ganzos? WTF?
