Should the knives it the pic be call SJ or SHSJ????

I say reproduce the original Satin Jack and give it a name we can all live with. I'll take my at 3/16" thick, thank you.:D
 
Well I think the poll says it all...IT's NOT a STRAIGHT HANDLE!!!!!:D

I posted that link a few times but some stubborn hogs just are too hard headed to understand the writing on the wall.. Sooo , :p:p:p:p to some of you hogs for being rude and wasting my time responding to this thread in defense to what something is supposed to be called. Just b/c I have not been on the forums for 10 years does not mean my opinion should be heavily disregarded.(sigh) I don't defend something to this extent unless I know I am right..

Again, you are ignoring the fact that the BA3 is not called the SHBA3. Or are we going to start talking about SHCPABAs and other nonsense like that? All the wishing in the world will not change a description (as used in the image above) into a name.
 
I understand that but you are ignoring the fact that the man who makes the great knives calls it a SHSJ, gonna argue with the boss?

The thing is, you're not right, even if you do use bold type. The first "Satin Jack" or Gen 1 is just that, a "Satin Jack", the second Gen is a "Satin Jack TAC", what is the problem? How long have you been collecting Busse knives Uncle Jarvis, one, maybe two years? It seems that most the time you just want to argue about busse knives, rather then enjoy them and the people that collect them.

LOL, I enjoy Busse knives, I just don't enjoy a handful of people that collect them.. :cool:


I see the Busse sub-forum at times as an extreme source of entertainment. :D

PS: There is nothing wrong with calling it a Gen1. SJ because that what it also is.. ie. Third gen. BA = BAIII

I argue with guys like Skunk & Jerry for a living, it is what I do.... I think it is fun. Besides I'm not agruing with them, just you and UJ.:p

Technically us, but in contrast you are arguing with skunk and Jerry because they both call it a SHSJ.

I know Skunk pretty well and I know Jerry a little. And I'm sure they care even less than I do if I agree with them or not. :thumbup:

Yeah this thread has gone on a little too long, call the knife what ever you want, and I'll call it what I want, :) as long as people dont go around correcting me saying, "you know, it technically not a SHSJ because it does not have sanded handles". :D
