The manner in which Matt has handled the unwarranted attack on his business and reputation shows the type of person he is. The "wombtroll" that started this needs to go crawl back in whatever he came out of and stop attacking a man of this character.
 
I found this thread in doing a search on a different topic. I did not want it to be archived without me telling of my experiences with Matt Lamey:

Matt has proven himself an honest man to me. A knifemaker of the highest order. I have several of his knives, and use / abuse them regularly. They work.

I hate to see a troll disrespect someone---simply because he can log on and do it. Matt Lamey is good people.

I've contacted makers about possible projects from time to time- some got back to me, some didn't. No big deal. We're not talking organ transplant here. :rolleyes:
 
Matt has had some very serious personal problems and that has caused him to be very late in filling orders. I am sure that he will get all his ducks in a row and that things will get better soon.
 
Remarkable thing here is that the thread enhances and highlights Matt's work, causing much curiosity about his knives and will probably lead to more orders.
 
I don't recall the name and am too lazy to search for it, but does this guy and Mr. "I'll never buy a Spyderco 'cause they did'nt answer my email" have the same ISP?
 
Well stated Boink. Matt is good to his word and his knives are awesome. I have spoken to him many times and have bought from him many times in the past and will do so again in the future.

I have to admit I had never heard of Matt before now. I took a look at your website and was very impressed sir. Thanks to the before mentioned troll, I too will be waiting for you to start taking orders again. You seem like a gentleman who is highly praised by your peers and customers and I can't wait to place my first order with you.:D
 
Everyone runs into jams. Knifemakers included. Matt is a up front and honest guy. He makes a good knife at a good value. For those of you with orders or waiting for him to take orders you will be happy with the work and with him.
