  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Scagel Tributes!!

My one and only. I remember debating quite a bit before I pulled the trigger. I really liked the style but the cost seemed high at the time. The one I picked out didn’t really do it for me . I called and Derrick took the call . This is what he sent back. Thin, matching slabs . So nice 74F4B2FB-3750-4EB9-9902-8933A311C5DC.jpeg

I realize this is an old thread, but I came across it again, and realized I did not post my self made Scagle inspired knife.

I forged a knife out of 5160. This is my second forged knife attempt.
Old hickory pick handle piece was used for the handle. Carved the handle to shape with the first knife I forged ( a yakut style knife attempt).

The guard is mild steel, andrhe handle has a micarta spacer, with a domed dril bit shank for the pin (a bit I ruined trying to drill the dang tang!!)
Gave this to my dad as a surprise Christmas gift a couple years ago.
