Hey guys, i need a little advice, i was recently trading my ak-47... a guy e-mailed me and said he'd give me 2 kershaws for it... he sent me the pics of them... and i did the same...

The day he should have sent the package, he didn't he said his day was packed and he'd ship it the very next day... that was the last response i got from him, i also talked to him over the phone to confirm it all the night before i sent the package

long story short, this all happened last week... ive recieved no package, no e-mail.. no call.. oh and get this, he called his phone company and made them not allow my calls to go though i call an operator who says "we are sorry but your phone # has been disabled by this cutomor" or w/e.. i have tried also to contact him through about 5-6 e-mails and borrowed a freinds cell to call him, no awnser...

i have his name, shipping address, phone number I still have all the e-mails as proof...

im at a loss at what i can do at this point... is there any legal action or anyway to resolve this... suggestions are always welcomed..

P.S. im not freaking out over this, and im happy it was with a $65 knife.. ive learnt my lesson to be more careful next time ... instead of it happening with a $500 knife =p
 
I doubt on legal, but be sure and post this in the Good, Bad and Ugly section, and pm moderators, esp. Esav. At minimum you can get him banned from doing tht again here.
 
That is just so low. That guy is a thief. Luckily it was a lower end knife. I hope this doesnt ruin your image of this forum if that jerk happened to be from here.

Would you mind posting the fella's handle so the rest of us can avoid the same ordeal. Sorry this happened man, but like you said, at least it was something that can be more easily replaced.
 
It sounds a lot like the piece of work that scammed me out of a leafstorm.It wasn't jsmitty was it?

I hope he dosn't scam any1 else... really sucks, im only young and dont make way too much =p, so a loss is a loss non-the-less and really does suck, im not thinking about a way to get it back at this point, im gana let it go, i just want to bring awareness to every1 on here about him...

Ive been using this fourms for a while now, and have made a few trades in the past and love it!.. just a dam shame this happens on here to people...

Anyway, from now on i want to see some positive feedback from all the guys who want to do a trade, Thanks for moving the thread mod.. and thanks for all your guys' responses!

Well,not the same person but another to avoid.I've noticed theres a lot more bad dealings here than there used to be.

I would try to call him using a caller ID spoof, meaning you can type in a number with a local area code so he thinks it's someone from his area calling. (( Grow up. ))

It looks like 701 Cassel Road is a trailer park in Manchester, PA. The person associated with Lot 60 is named Rosemary Halpin, age ~54. This is also the name of the person tied to this phone number. I suspect you're dealing with a kid who lives with his mother. Relatives of Rosemary Halpin are Paul Halpin and Alexandra Halpin. Paul Edward Halpin is ~58 years old and co-owns a condominium in Pacifica, CA with Alexandra.
